Kootenai Health is currently hiring a self-starting, innovative, engaged, standout RN with PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency experience who has a desire to be continually challenged and make an impact on the lives of those around them.
Our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurses are specialized professionals who provide intensive observation and treatment of patients that have undergone anesthesia and are some of the most vulnerable patients. If chosen, we will provide you with on-going educational opportunities and a great group of coworkers who truly have a passion for what they do each day.
Kootenai Health's PACU unit consists of:
Post-anesthesia 18 bays
Pre-op/post recovery unit 20 rooms
You will need to have:
A graduated from a nationally accredited Nursing program.
State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho.
BSN or enrollment and continuous progression towards completion of a BSN program.
A minimum of 1-year experience in Critical Care, Emergency or OR/PACU required, as applicable.
ACLS, PALS, BLS
