About the Clinical Coordinator Job
In addition to all Charge Nurse responsibilities, the Clinical Coordinator, as a key part of the nursing leadership team, has additional responsibility for the unit. Responsibilities include assisting the nurse manager with staffing, Kronos and performance appraisals and participating in 2nd level coaching and/or disciplinary actions with the nurse manager and human resources. May have responsibility for direct reports on a specific unit. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Works under broad supervision. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Licensure in the State of Idaho as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
BSN or enrollment by December 2017 and continuous progression towards completion of a BSN program by year 2020 required.
Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
Kootenai Health approved professional certification to be obtained within 12 months or when eligibility requirements are met.
