Kootenai Health is seeking a community-minded, quality driven, and highly motivated Surgical Scrub Techs!
As we continue to improve quality and operational excellence, we are pursuing a staffing model that provides three staff per operating room. Our three-person team consists of one circulator, one scrub, and one facilitator. This model supports work-life balance as it decreases the burden of call. It also supports engagement and growth by allowing for specialization and enabling those certified to first-assist to provide that service whenever possible. Furthermore, we train and utilize RNs in the scrub role with our Periop 101 Cohort Program.
Kootenai Health offers a modern, state-of-the-art facility which supports a wide range of surgical specialties. All current rooms have been right-sized and remodeled, and we now have a total of 11 Operating Rooms, one of which is a Hybrid OR!
