About the Medical Assistant Job
As a Medical Assistant you are responsible for vitals, injections and basic triage and will be able to assist in minor procedures. In this job you will possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, have excellent customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills. As an ideal candidate, you will be knowledgeable of routine office procedures and medical instruments, and will screens phone calls from patients for the provider. As a Medical Assistant you will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Maintain an efficient patient flow.
Assist Physician during patient exams.
Performs all necessary follow-up in a timely and accurate manner.
Provides quality care.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Prior cardiology experience preferred
National Certification - Passage of CMA examination given by AAMA, NCCT or NHA or passage of RMA examination given by AMT required within 3 months from date of hire.
State Certification - CMA-WA registration required. Must be licensed with the state of Washington prior to start date.
