We are looking for a Developer for a Full time position in Boise. This position is located on our main campus in Boise.
The ideal candidate will be more of a hybrid between a developer and analyst. They will have SQL development experience and worked in SSIS. They will have knowledge of Data Architecture, ETL and worked in visual studio. The will also have experience as an application developer with development experience in any one of the following tools: VB .NET, ASP .NET or C Sharp.
The Business Intelligence Solution Developer II establishes and maintains a consultative and/or collaborative partnership with business owners, stakeholders, leadership and technical teams. Is responsible for collaborating with business owners to gather explicit business requirements for business intelligence solutions. Is Responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying business intelligence solutions that support the strategic objectives, mission and business intelligence strategy of the health system. Collaborates with technical teams and EDW teams to develop needed data infrastructure for respective business intelligence solutions. Supports business intelligence tools and systems, and end-users of these tools and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development background.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications and experience required. Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Predictive Analytics, IT-related, or Math preferred. Microsoft certifications include the MTA, MCSE.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analysis of complex, large data sets and/or business intelligence solution development required, preferably in healthcare.
Intermediate computer skills in business intelligence applications and/or statistical analysis software, e.g., Microsdoft Business Intelligence suite, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access), SAS, Tableau, Minitab, Matlab, VBA/SQL/MySQL/T-SQL/R, Crystal Reports, Business Objects Desktop/Webtop Intelligence.
Strong ability to translate business questions into data requirements and business intelligence.
Experience designing and deploying business intelligence solutions based on knowledge of healthcare data, healthcare operations, clinical quality, revenue cycle, and health information technology required. Solutions may include predictive analytics, dashboards, scorecards, reports, clinical decision support, data indexes/crosswalks.
Knowledge of database structures, data modeling, ETL, MDM, data mining, data auditing and technical documentation required.
Knowledge of software system testing and support required.
Knowledge of applied research, statistical and financial analysis preferred.
Familiar with performance improvement and/or LEAN methodologies preferred.
Familiar with project management techniques preferred.
